 Anna Fugazzi"s art comes from her dreams, inspirations, and her vivid imagination. Anna has always believed art is the extension of one's soul.  The vision to create art comes from an open mind. With an open mind and the ability to think freely, there is an opportunity to take risks and disregard all the rules. These attributes set the foundation for an expression of one's inner self.  

   Her ideas come to life through design, placement, and color through many different surfaces such as canvas, wood, glass, metal, stone and paper.  Her painting technique is bold and colorful with a whimsical flair. She prefers to use acrylic paint, but has worked with water color, inks, charcoal and pencils. Ideas come from what stimulates her visual senses, and she enjoys creating pieces that many people may relate to. Reflections of Anna's inner thoughts and feelings express each piece of work she makes.  

    Born in The Bronx, New York, Anna's talents were recognized at an early age.  She is a self-taught artist, but her interest in fashion illustration led her to study at Traphagen School of Fashion on Park Avenue in NYC.  She has freelanced for several fashion showrooms and buying offices in the New York area, which featured woman's and children's clothing. In 1983 Anna created, "Hand Painted Designs by Anna."  Her hand painted t-shirts, sweatshirts and children's clothing sold in small concession stores throughout the tristate area. She has also created many designs for sandblasted mirrors and glass art.

   Anna's paintings and designs have been enjoyed and viewed in homes, restaurants and galleries.  The enjoyment and passion for art has led her to teach adults and children to express  their creativity as she continues to explore new concepts and techniques for future work.

  Anna is also a gifted writer. She enjoys writing poetry and short stories that coincide with her paintings.  Her writings are just as colorful and vivid as her art.
